Manda Bay Featured in Harper’s Bazaar

06/11/2023

In a recent article in Harper’s Bazaar, we are proud to share that Manda Bay was featured as a resort for travel connoisseurs wishing to explore the breathtaking beaches and culture in the Lamu area.

The article describes beaches of gold sand in the exotic region and total privacy at Manda Bay in romantic cottages. Here is the except from the online website:

“Total privacy also at Manda Bay, a lodge on a languid strip of sand at the extreme northern tip. You can choose whether to stay in romantic cottages in the garden of palm trees and acacias or in villas directly on the beach. At high tide, swimming is done by diving directly from the private terraces. Among the excursions organized by the lodge, there is one to the ruins of Takwa, a town founded in 1500 and abandoned in 1700, when its inhabitants moved to Stone Town.”
